Clean workplace

A clean workplace is an area in which the particle concentration in the air is kept at a certain level to avoid contamination of products or processes. The particle purity of a clean workplace is determined by the cleanroom class, which is defined according to DIN EN ISO 14644-1. A clean workplace can be part of a cleanroom or a locally delimited cleanroom zone.
