At rest

A cleanroom "at rest" is a cleanroom that is fully completed and in operation, with production equipment running but without personnel. This condition is used to determine the particle cleanliness class of the air, which indicates the maximum number and size of airborne particles per cubic meter. A cleanroom at rest must meet a certain particle purity class to be suitable for certain manufacturing processes.
